Briana L. Fitzpatrick-Sheikh joined Colantoni, Collins, Marren, Phillips & Tulk LLP in August 2019 and handles all aspects of workers’ compensation litigation on behalf of self-insured employers, insurance carriers and third-party administrators.
Mrs. Fitzpatrick-Sheikh pursued law in college with an undergraduate degree in Law and Social Thought from the University of Toledo, Ohio graduating summa cum laude in 2007 with an honors thesis titled The Implications of the Portrayal of Female Lawyers in Film. In 2010, she earned her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School, in Los Angeles, California. Since obtaining her law license in June 2011, she has worked as both a defense attorney and applicant’s attorney in workers’ compensation. Her recent accomplishments include a “take nothing” upheld on appeal and an uncontested “take nothing.” Her work experience also includes entertainment, bankruptcy and civil law.
Mrs. Fitzpatrick-Sheikh is an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
