Mr. Chapman received his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2006 and was admitted to the California Bar in December 2006. He graduated with highest honors from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in Political Science in 2001.
While in law school, Mr. Chapman was an Executive Editor for the Hastings International and Comparative Law Review, which also published his student note. He also prepared a research study that was used in a reform of California’s small claims court system.
Since being admitted to the California Bar, Mr. Chapman dedicated his practice to representing employers, insurance carriers and third party administrators defending workers compensation claims filed under the California Workers’ Compensation Act and the Federal Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act.
Prior to undergrad, Mr. Chapman served as a nuclear propulsion plant electrician in the U.S. Navy for six years.
