Life Pension Resolves for $10k on Second Day of Trial!

June 3, 2025

In this case handled by Joshua Rosenblatt, the Applicant alleged a Specific Injury and Cumulative Trauma and obtained industrial med-legal reports in orthopedic surgery, internal medicine, and psychiatry, with additional final reports in neurology and dental. Final ratings with industrial causation rated to 74%.

With five Defense witnesses present at Trial to rebut the Applicant’s claim, we cross-examined the Applicant for a day and a half over the first two days of Trial.  At end of the Court session on day two, the Parties agreed to confer while the Judge reviewed investigative video footage of the Applicant as rebuttal evidence.  At that time, in light of the 1.5 days (and ongoing) of cross-examination of the Applicant, and despite the multiple med-legal reports finding injury and life pension rating, the parties reached highly favorable, highly cost-effective, nominal settlement.
